Working principle of air cleaner

July. 09, 2021

After purifying the air through a filter, the energy of the compressed air is transformed into sound energy through a sound wave generator and controlled by an electromagnetic valve. It is modulated into sound waves and transmitted outward in the form of sound waves. The sound waves are amplified by a radiation horn through a sound wave guide tube and transmitted into the container at a certain frequency, working program, and cycle; Sound waves propagate in an elastic medium, forming a powerful resonant sound field without leaving any dead angles through direct reflection, penetration, reflection, and diffraction. They cycle back and forth on the accumulated ash on the surface of the container, repeatedly applying variable loads of tension and pressure to the ash, weakening and damaging the bonding force between ash particles and between ash particles and the container wall; From a microscopic perspective, ash accumulation is caused by the surface tension of a large number of small ash particles, the viscosity between particles and their pipe walls, molecular adhesion, electrostatic attraction, and chemical affinity, which accumulate on the surface of the container. The role of sound waves is to accelerate the vibration of air molecules, causing air molecules to be densely distributed throughout the entire space, forming billions of air molecules around the ash particles, When these molecules oscillate back and forth with a common intensity and frequency, their forces cannot be underestimated; The sound wave continues to work, and when the bonding force between the ash particles and the container wall weakens to a certain extent, it will eventually lead to fatigue damage and looseness, causing the accumulated ash to loosen and detach, or be washed away by the airflow, achieving the purpose of soot blowing.

The above is an introduction to the working principle of the soot blower.
